Edie Thomas

Program Director, Mt. Diablo Center for Adult Day Health Care

Edie Thomas joined CiA in October 2025, bringing over 30 years of experience supporting adults with disabilities. Throughout her career, she has worked in community-based employment services for developmentally disabled adults in Southern California, served as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor and Resources Specialist with the California Department of Rehabilitation, and led a nonprofit in Solano County that provided Supported and Independent Living Services. Growing up with older parents and siblings, Edie has always had a special place in her heart for our elders. To support herself through college, she cared for elderly women, gaining valuable experience and deepening her empathy for older adults. She is the proud mother of two sons, Tony and Ray, who fill her heart with joy. In her free time, Edie enjoys walking and savoring foods from around the world.
